The whitening products contain either carbamide peroxide or hydrogen peroxide that break down to produce oxygen that gets into the hard outer surface of the teeth to lighten them.

Take- Home System

An impression is taken of your teeth and then a thin rubber tray is made to fit exactly over your teeth. The dentist will provide you with tubes of whitening gel and instruct on how to apply the gel and use the trays.

This is generally used daily overnight for up to 4 weeks and the dentist will review you weekly.
